30, 60, 90 days: nitrogen and potash top dressing. After the 90-day dose: earth up with a victory plough; again with a spade at 150 days. 150th and 210th day: remove dry leaves (detrashing) to avoid borer. 210 days: double-line propping with trash twists. 6, 8 and 10 months: sodium metasilicate 4 kg/ha in 750 litres of water as a cane ripener.
