Dibble the seeds 2–3 cm deep at a spacing of 30 x 5 cm. Rainfed soybean can be grown in the South-West and North-East monsoon seasons. Intercropping soybean in coconut gardens more than 10 years old is recommended, and soybean + castor (castor rows 60 cm apart) gave high net return in the source region.
