Irrigate copiously after planting, then once a week. Apply 10 kg FYM per plant as basal. From the third month, after removing unwanted sex forms, apply 50 g each of N, P and K per plant every two months. At planting, apply mycorrhizae 50 g, phosphate-solubilising bacteria 25 g, Azospirillum 50 g and Trichoderma harzianum 50 g per plant, and 20 g each of Azospirillum and phosphobacteria again at six months. Spray 0.5% zinc sulphate + 0.1% boric acid at the 4th and 8th month.
