Irrigate once a week. Plains: basal FYM 15 t/ha and N 50, P 100, K 50 kg/ha; 50 kg N after 45 days; apply 2 kg of vegetable micronutrient mixture separately from the fertilizers. Hills: FYM 30 t/ha and NPK 90:90:90 kg/ha basal, then 45:45:45 kg/ha after 45 days. Micronutrients listed: zinc sulphate 50 kg/ha, borax 10 kg/ha, copper sulphate 3.75 kg/ha and sodium molybdate 0.25 kg/ha to the soil.
