3rd day after planting: life irrigation. 30th day: top dressing of nitrogen (varieties) or the first split (hybrids); stake hybrid plants with 1–1.5 m stakes and remove side branches up to 20 cm from the ground. 30 days: one hand weeding after pre-emergence herbicide. From 40 days: spray 0.5% zinc sulphate three times at 10-day intervals. Flowering: spray 0.3% boric acid, and again 10 days later.
