Use terminal vine cuttings 10–15 cm long with 2–3 nodes, from vines at least 3 months old — about 80,000 per hectare, planted 20 cm apart on ridges 60 cm apart (or beds). Dip the cuttings in a solution of 400 g Azospirillum in water before planting.
