Irrigate once in 2 days until plants establish, then once a week. After pruning in October and again in July, apply 10 kg FYM and NPK 6:12:12 g per plant. A foliar spray of 0.2% micronutrient mixture (20 g MnSO4 + 15 g MgSO4 + 10 g FeSO4 + 5 g B; 2 g of the mixture per litre of water) gives brightly coloured flowers.
