Prepare the land to a fine tilth and provide drainage channels. Form ridges and furrows 45 cm apart and plant tubers 20 cm apart. A paired-row system of 60 x 30 x 20 cm is also given. Plant tubers about 15 cm deep to reduce tuber moth egg-laying.
