FYM or compost 25 t/ha with Azospirillum and phosphobacteria 2 kg each (or Azophos 4 kg), ploughed in. Without a soil test, NPK 150:50:40 kg/ha: all P and K and half the N at planting, the rest of the N at 30 days, and 75 kg N after each cut. Biofertilizers with 75% of the N and P gave similar yield while saving 25% of fertilizer.
