Plough three or four times and form beds of 10–20 m². FYM 25 t/ha; without a soil test, NPK 25:120:40 kg/ha, all at sowing. Seed rate 20 kg/ha of good seed free of dodder (Cuscuta), treated with Rhizobium and phosphobacteria (600 g each), sown at 25 x 10 cm. Irrigate after sowing, on the 3rd day, then weekly.
