Irrigation and foliar nutrition
Irrigate immediately after sowing, give a life irrigation on the third day, then irrigate every 7–10 days depending on soil and weather. Flowering and pod formation are critical stages when irrigation is a must. Avoid water stagnation at all stages. Spray 2% KCl during the vegetative stage if there is moisture stress. A 1% urea spray on the 30th and 45th day after sowing is recommended for yield improvement.
