Plains: 50 kg/ha, 2 seeds per hill at 45 x 30 cm on the sides of ridges after two ploughings. Hills: 80 kg/ha at 30 x 15 cm in lines or beds, with FYM dug in. Treat seed with Trichoderma viride 4 g/kg a day before sowing (fungicide options are also listed), and with Rhizobium where beans are grown for the first time. Irrigate after sowing, on the 3rd day, then weekly.
