Treat seed with talc formulation of Trichoderma viride at 4 g/kg or Pseudomonas fluorescens at 10 g/kg, then with Rhizobium culture (three packets are enough for one hectare), prepared with rice kanji; shade-dry for 15 minutes before sowing. If a fungicide (carbendazim or thiram at 2 g/kg) is used instead, leave at least 24 hours before the bacterial culture.
