Seed rate: 10 kg/ha. Treat seed with Rhizobium culture (600 g/ha) using rice gruel as a binder and dry in shade for 15–30 minutes before sowing. Form ridges and furrows 45 cm apart and dibble seeds on the sides of ridges 15 cm apart (45 x 15 cm). Give stakes to the MDU 1 variety.
