Manure is increased each year up to the 5th year (the yearly table in the source is not clearly printed). On the east coast, apply fertilizer in October–November, or where possible in two equal splits in June–July and October–November, at 1000:125:250 g NPK per tree. Cashew is normally rainfed; weekly irrigation from flowering to nut maturity increases yield.
