Irrigate weekly in November–February and every 4 days in March–May — about 175 litres per palm per day by flooding, or 16–20 litres by drip. Bearing palms (5 years and above): 10–15 kg FYM or green leaf and NPK 100:40:140 g per palm per year; half this dose for younger palms. Apply in January–February in a basin of 0.75–1 m radius, 20–30 cm deep.
