  20–25 గ్రా. పిల్ల దుంపలు వాడాలి; హెక్టారుకు సుమారు 800 కిలోలు. 45 సెం.మీ. దూరంలో బోదెలు, కాలువలు (ఇసుక ఒండ్రులో గుంతలు) చేసి 45 సెం.మీ. దూరంలో 2.5–7.5 సెం.మీ. లోతులో నాటాలి.
